Gascon style
Our dry white wine

COLOMBARD

At the heart of the aromas of the Gascony dry whites, it infuses them with an intense range of fresh and lively notes (of citrus and exotic fruits).

Ugni-Blanc

Provides the fabric and a gourmet predilection to blends (aromas of quince and apricot).

Gros manseng

With a lively character and moderately expressive, it regulates the aromatic balance of the dry whites with floral notes (violet, acacia flowers).

Sauvignon

Brings complexity and a touch of elegance to other varieties. Its nature is balanced and harmonious.

Very dominant in the Côtes de Gascogne, Colombard is prized for its aromatic essence that is reminiscent of citrus and exotic fruits. It gives a lively mouth feel that is light in alcohol, forming a happy synergy with Ugni Blanc that brings tautness and sap to the whole More and more used in the dry whites, Gros Manseng contributes to give them roundness and a soft natural sense.

Well acclimatised to the region, Sauvignon delivers complete wines to the point of making fully-fledged cuvées in their own right. In a blend, it gives a note of elegance and expressiveness, all the while giving substance to the compositions from more typical Gascon varieties.

FRUITY

ACIDULOUS

FRESH

LIGHTWEIGHT

A fruity invigorating nature, that is both tangy and gourmet is what makes the Côtes de Gascogne dry whites so seductive and ensures their rare versatility at the table.
They can also be enjoyed as an aperitif with a large assortment of appetisers and harmoniously accompany fish or shellfish. (Colombard based blend).
Creamy poultry and white meats in a sauce also work well for the gourmet palates (Gros Manseng)

LES SOLS

Bas Armagnac

The climate

unique conditions

The climate of Gascony results from influences of its geographical horizons that combine to benefit the expressiveness and the balance of the wines.

As such, the contribution of oceanic moisture and Mediterranean temperatures driven by an easterly wind, acts on the continental character of the local climate and temperate conditions, without extremes.

Additionally, the thermic differences between day and night, notably during the maturation of the grapes, accentuates an aromatic potential that the Gascon winegrowers know how to reveal thanks to their accomplished work.
